Printer & Fax World was established in Smithfield, Virginia in 1989. Mike Harrington perceived that printing technology would be the new wave in local service-based industry. He began a small business that recycled toner cartridges used in laser printers. As his business grew, Mr. Harrington quickly learned the intricacies of printing technologies used in all types of machines (even dot matrix if you can remember those!) He began training employees and sending them to be factory-trained and certified by manufacturers such as Canon, Brother, Epson, Hewlett Packard, Lexmark, Bowe, Belle & Howell, Panasonic and Samsung. Printer & Fax World is now certified to repair and service laser printers, inkjet printers, fax machines, scanners and projectors for many of today s leading manufacturers.
